New tourism director general outlines plan for GB – video

In one of her first engagements since her appointment as tourism director general earlier this month, Joy Jibrilu travelled to Freeport last week to meet with stakeholders in the tourism industry on Grand Bahama. She says that the government has several plans in the pipeline to help rejuvenate the island's tourism product and is excited about its potential. Watch a ZNS Network news report here.

The Miami Dolphins Legends hosted a weekend in The Bahamas, showcasing a partnership with the tropical islands, complete with Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino in attendance. The Bahamas will serve as the official island destination of Miami Dolphins Legends in a newly launched, five-year deal, according to the official Miami Dolphins website.

The Bahamian-owned and operated Commonwealth Bank announced Monday that it has teamed up its SunCard credit card with MasterCard. The bank also said total assets had reached $1.46 billion.
