Atlantis International Bahamas president George Markantonis has said that the new Baha Mar mega-resort will be able to exist along side the established Atlantis brand, attracting a different type of tourist to The Bahamas and boosting visitor numbers.

Speaking at the Business Outlook conference held this week in Nassau, Prime Minister Perry Christie said that the Ministry of Finance was preparing to launch a "multi-faceted programme of action to address fiscal issues" in the coming year, including tax reform.
