Copia logoNassau, Bahamas (PRWEB) July 17, 2013 — Copia Communications installed their equipment at Breezes Bahamas, which will now receive Wi-Fi throughout its premises. The news is being welcomed by the tourists and guests at the hotel, and is a step in the right direction as far as both companies are concerned.

Darryl Wehmeyer, CEO of Copia Communications had this to say, “We are very excited about this new deal with Breezes Bahamas, as they are our first client outside Jamaica. We are viewing this as the first major step towards increasing our market share in the region, and towards reaching out to new clients in the Caribbean.”

Wi-Fi services are quickly becoming one of the essential amenities in luxury hotels in the Caribbean. Tourists need wireless internet for their smart phones, laptops, and tablets in order to stay connected to the world while on vacation. A hotel that offers Wi-Fi has a distinct competitive advantage over a hotel that does not.

Wehmeyer further added, “Our services provide better coverage, come with live support, and not only attract customers but generate revenue for the client as well. We are working with our Bahamian partner MS Solutions for tech support, and are contributing to the local economy by creating new job opportunities here. We believe in creating win-win situations for everyone involved.”

Copia Communications has established itself as the leader in hospitality internet services in the Caribbean by providing high quality, high speed Wi-Fi to its clients. The company is also known for its tech support services, and already has an impressive portfolio of big names in the hotel industry as their clients.

Jackson Weech the General Manager of Breezes Bahamas sounded excited about the hotel’s partnership with Copia, “We certainly find Copia to be an upgrade from our past provider. The improved coverage and support gives us a WiFi service we can promote with confidence.”

Muna Issa, the Treasurer of Superclubs, the owner of the Breezes brand said, “We decided to enter this mutually beneficial partnership with Copia because we know them to be reliable with our other properties in Jamaica. We have found Copia to be a great partner over the years and we are happy to have them here in the Bahamas. The feedback from our guests is overwhelmingly positive.”

Copia Communications is based in Massachusetts, USA and provides internet services to hotels in the Caribbean. Most of their existing clientèle is in the Jamaican region, and the company is now expanding into the Bahamas. Their services are now live in Breezes Bahamas, and more hotels in the region are expected to follow Breezes’ example.

Founder of New York City's Red Rabbit–a supplier of healthy, freshly prepared meals for schools–Rhys Powell was born and raised in The Bahamas. Now his company has received the Manhattan Small Business of the Year Award, according to NYDailyNews.com.
