The Bahamas will be hosting its first-ever official LPGA tournament this year, according to the LPGA. The Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic will take place from May 23-26. It will include four tournament rounds with 72 holes of stroke play.

Majority Rule Day to be observed in schools

Prime Minister Perry Christie has said that Majority Rule is arguably the most important event in the country’s history, with the exception of the Abolition of Slavery and Independence.

Speaking at a press conference regarding the 46th Anniversary of Majority Rule at his West Bay Street Office, January 7, Prime Minister Christie said it is time for the decision to be made as to whether or not to make Majority Rule a public holiday.
