Speaking yesterday at the first day of the Bahamas International Investment & Business Forum being held in Freeport, Minister of State for Investment Khaalis Rolle reiterated the government's commitment to fostering an investor-friendly climate. 

Commonwealth Business Council chairman Dr Mohan Kaul has urged Grand Bahama to look to other Commonwealth countries for potential investors. Kaul made the remarks yesterday at the Bahamas International Investment & Business Forum in Freeport. 

During his keynote address at the Bahamas International Investment and Business Forum this morning, Prime Minister Perry Christie said that the expansion of the Panama Canal in 2015 could bring benefits to Grand Bahama's shipping industry.

Etienne Dupuch Jr Publications and The Bahamas Investor are partnering with the Commonwealth Business Council for the upcoming Bahamas International Investment and Business Forum to be held in Grand Bahama this week. The event is being hosted in collaboration with the Grand Bahama Port Authority and the Bahamas Investment Authority.
