Last week, the environmental team at Baha Mar installed eco-friendly artificial reefs several feet away from the shoreline of Cable Beach. The artificial reefs, consisting of forty-eight reef balls and three hundred and twenty coral antlers, will create the optimal conditions for coral and marine life, according to the resort operator. China new home for RCI’s Quantum of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International recently announced that Quantum of the Seas, will make its home port in Shanghai (Baoshan), China, bringing the company's most innovative ship to the world's fastest-growing cruise market. Anthem of the Seas, which launches in April 2015, will continue Quantum-class cruising to The Bahamas and Caribbean for the winter 2015-16 season.

Baha Mar has announced an opportunity for training and recruitment in its ongoing efforts to recruit Bahamians to fill the more than 4,000 positions at the luxury resort, which will be home to the largest casino in the Caribbean.

The Baha Mar Academy will be offering a free Casino Dealer Trainee Program to provide training for the games that will be featured in the state-of-the-art, 100,000 sq ft Baha Mar Casino.

The hotel team members were the first to dine in the new restaurant, a day ahead of opening the restaurant to in-house guests, while their dining room received a facelift.

The new restaurant is the latest upgrade to the beachfront Nassau resort, which recently completed a refurbishment of its 400 guest rooms and suites and adding free in-room and property-wide Wi-Fi.

The Banana Boat, which has been completely rebuilt, replaces the former Main Dining Room. “Not only is the new space more modern with a contemporary look, but it is also more eco-conscious in its design,” said John Issa, Chairman of Breezes Resorts & Spas.
