Sandals all-inclusive resort chain has spent $25 million on enhancing facilities at its Nassau location over the last two years. General manager at Royal Sandals Royal Bahamian Patrick Drake says that the resort is reaping the benefits from the recent improvements.

July 2014 (TTG Digital) – The Bahamas Tourist Office is seeking to re-establish itself in the European market, with a new director for Europe moving over from The Bahamas to London.

The Bahamas’ new tourism director general, Joy Jibrilu (pictured above), who took up the post in May, admitted there had been a lapse in focus on the UK but insisted that is about to change.

Another five employees of Atlantis Paradise Island recently completed the resort’s Manager Trainee Programme, which takes participants through a series of rotations throughout the various departments and challenges of hotel operations to ready them for advancement opportunities.

In recognition of their accomplishment, senior executives at the resort hosted the group to a certificate ceremony.
