Prime Minister Dr Hubert Minnis is slated to officiate at the groundbreaking ceremony for Leno Corporate Centre in Nassau February 10.

Designed by local architect Wellington Woods, the 5-storey contemporary glass and steel building atop the hill on Collins Avenue is a $25 million investment by the company.

Leno has a full-time staff of 20 in addition to outsourcing to vendors and has expanded from providing pension administration, investment management and brokerage services to providing back office corporate services, fund management, financial consulting, trust services and real estate.

“The construction of this attractive building is about more than creation of an edifice,” says Sean Longley, Leno Group of Companies founder and CEO. “It is a reflection of Leno’s confidence in the future of The Bahamas and our commitment to helping to strengthen the new chapter of financial services particularly as it serves and benefits Bahamians and Bahamian enterprises.”

Leno is expected to occupy the top floors of the building. Other tenants will be announced at a later date, according to Longley.

The expected completion is mid-2021.

Prime Minister Dr Hubert Minnis will deliver his first National Report of the year February 11.
