Doha, Qatar – Minister of Foreign Affairs Fred Mitchell and Minister for Grand Bahama Dr Michael Darville met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Mohammed Bin Abdullah Bin Mutib Al Rumaihi May 13, 2014.

The three officials met at the Doha Economic Forum being held in Doha, the capital city of Qatar. The Bahamian government ministers are there discussing investment possibilities with the Qataris.

Fred Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with Dr Michael Darville, Minister for Grand Bahama, paid a courtesy call on the President of Qatar Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani following the opening of the Doha Economic Forum in Doha, Qatar.

Fred Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas, and his counterparts were in the United Arab Emirates last week to discuss trade issues and preparations for Expo 2020.
