The developers of the $3.5 billion Baha Mar resort in The Bahamas released renderings of four of the project’s five hotels as well as an exterior rendering of the resort’s convention center.

The illustrations included renderings of the 1,000-room Baha Mar Casino & Hotel, the 200-room Rosewood, the 300-room Mondrian and the 700-room Grand Hyatt.

Concierge Auctions, a New York-based luxury real estate auction firm that sells high-end properties worldwide, and local partner, Sterling Bahamas Realty, yesterday announced the April 30 auction of The Boat House and Ship Owner townhome, two estates that rest within the walls of the exclusive Grand Bahama Yacht Club in Freeport, Grand Bahama.

Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe says that the Memories Grand Bahama Beach and Casino Resort, which opened earlier this week, will bring a significant boost to the local economy by bringing more tourists to the island and increasing airlift. Watch an interview with the Minister here.
