Leaders from the tourism industry and Ministry of Tourism officials are in the US this week to promote The Bahamas and meet with airline officials in an effort to increase airlift to the island nation. The Ministry of Tourism is set to launch a major campaign to help promote the multi-million dollar Baha Mar mega-resort on Cable Beach. Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe says the campaign will focus on Asia and Europe, as well as the Americas. Watch an interview with Wilchcombe here.
