The agenda for the 21st Annual Bahamas Business Outlook, with the theme “Vision Beyond Sight: How Ready is The Bahamas to do 21st Century Business?” has been announced.

The one-day conference will be held on January 12, 2012, at the Wyndham Nassau Resort and features presentations by 11 government and business leaders:

The Asia-Pacific region presents the greatest challenges yet for Bahamas financial services providers, but the rewards could be great. The new issue of The Bahamas Investor examines what efforts are being made to tap this emerging market and what else needs to be done.

The Monthly Economic and Financial Developments report for November released by The Central Bank of The Bahamas at the end of December shows gains in construction and tourism, as well as a lower overall deficit.
